The Appenines in Reggio Emilia district offer the opportunity to practise the alpine skiing on a lot of mountais like Prado ( mt2054), the Valestrina Alp (mt 1930), Cusna (mt 2121), Cavalbianco (mt1855 ), La Nuda (mt1895) , Casarola (mt1979) and the Alps of Succiso (mt2016). These mountains even if they are not so high in comparison with those in the Alps, can present difficult conditions in particular in case of ice and avalnches. the fresh or icy snow can be really dangerous and only the most skilled alpine skiers can face them.
