The terrain at Scheffau - SkiWelt forms part of the wider SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental area, with 275 km of pistes across the linked domain. From Scheffau, Brandstadlbahn is the main lift into the mountain.

Beginners and families should start around Brandstadl. This area keeps the day simple, with manageable skiing close to the main lift access and family services.

Intermediate skiers get the strongest value from Scheffau. The links towards Eibergbahn, Südhangbahn and Osthangbahn offer flowing pistes and make it easy to build a longer ski day.

Advanced skiers should use Scheffau as a gateway into the wider SkiWelt. The more demanding red and black pistes across the linked area are better suited to skiers who want pace, control and mileage.

The landscape is one of Scheffau’s best assets. Around Brandstadl, the views towards the Wilder Kaiser give the area a classic Tyrolean feel, especially on clear days.

Freestyle and fun terrain are available within the wider SkiWelt, but Scheffau’s main strength is access and variety rather than park skiing. It is best for skiers who want a practical base with fast links into a large piste network.
