    Pros: Excellent terrain - varied and challenging, Hikable bowls, Not a 'Scene'

    Less crowded than other Tahoe ski areas

    Pros: Not crowded, Fun terrain, Fast lifts

    Cons: None, if you're into undeveloped ski area

    All around average mountain

    Pros: Fast lifts; good mix of difficulty of runs

    Cons: There's nothing great about the resort...

    The lifts were fast and there was a good diversity in difficulty of runs. Nothing about the resort really grabbed my interest; everything was really average. The back country/tree runs flattened out... Full review

    Kirkwood's Cousin to the North

    Pros: vast terrain, relatively empty

    Cons: not as glitzy
