First Hand Report

Snow was good feb 12. Was a little powder in the morning and then got a little packed and a tiny bit slushy towards 3pm. The trails and parks were all open. Nice and groomed.

Bear Mountain is part of Big Bear Mountain Resort, along with Snow Valley and Snow Summit. Where Is Bear Mountain Located? The easiest way to get to the mountain is by car, either your own or a rental. It’s about two and a half hours from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) depending on traffic.
