    Nice place for beginner and children

    Pros: Cheap, closest resort to bay area, night skiing, pipe, jumping

    Cons: Small, fewer lifts, crowded for holiday

    Sardine Can

    Pros: Cheap, closest resort to Sacramento metro, night skiing, snowfall

    Cons: terrain, crowds, vertical
