Nice place for beginner and children
Pros: Cheap, closest resort to bay area, night skiing, pipe, jumping
Cons: Small, fewer lifts, crowded for holiday

Pros: Cheap, closest resort to Sacramento metro, night skiing, snowfall
Cons: terrain, crowds, vertical
It's nice that this resort is so close to the central valley, but you don't have to drive much further to get a lot better terrain features. Personally I don't know why... Full review
