    Ski Area, Not Ski Resort

    Just skiing/boarding, no BS

    Pros: Great expert terrain when there is 2-3ft or more natural snow, ol' timey charm, views

    Cons: not a 4 star resort, not a fashion show, certainly not for whiners

    I love skiing here, but that's because skiing is my priority when I go to a ski area. You will be disappointed if you go thinking this is a 'resort' with 'amenities'.... Full review

    I love Baldy

    Pros: Close to LA, Long, steep runs, ski anywhere on the Mt.

    Cons: slow lifts, only good if there's natural snow

    When theres snow, it's the best area in So. Cal. Long steep runs, friendly staff. You can ski the entire Mt. even a long run to the parking lot. Old fashioned mom... Full review

    Fair ski area...terrible service.

    Pros: Not crowded, close to LA.

    Cons: RUDE STAFF, slow lifts, mislabeled slopes, no night life, 1 beginner slope
