Sierra Summit (aka China Peak) just celebrated its 50th anniversary. It has grown into a decent size ski area. No detachable high speed lifts, but lift lines are quick even when parking lot is full. Well groomed intermediate runs, but most of them are angled and do not follow the fall line. Nice long beginner runs. A short but steep face is fun but is easily missed, several other short steep runs with good moguls and a fair sized bowl. Good tree runs, beautiful peaks and lake views. Powder to the Peaceful!
