    Pros: Best Metro Downhill Terrain, Good mix of runs, NO BUSSES FULL OF KIDS!

    Cons: Somewhat Inconsistent Grooming, Weekends in the Main Chalet can be crowded.

    Having lived elsewhere in the Midwest, including Wausau, WI (home of Granite Peak/Rib Mountain), Welch was a welcome discovery. This will be my second year purchasing a season pass for the mid-continent... Full review

    Pros: Terrain

    Cons: Everything Else

    Welch has great terrain, too bad they don't know how to manage it. The snow is typically iced up and grooming is horrible. Everytime I have been there they leave grooming ruts... Full review

    The terrain is good for Minnesota, however, the overall cost is not worth it. The lifts are old, the grooming is poor, and there is NOTHING else to do in the area... Full review

    OK...the previous reviews are not giving welch any credit....what the crap!!! I think Welch is by far the best you can get in MN outside of the big three (Lutsen,Spirit, Giant). Obviously... Full review
