Being a few minutes away from the bustling mountain town of Red Lodge is a bonus, too, and a stop in the legendary Snow Creek Saloon for aprés ski is a must.

    My first resort

    Pros: Gentle learning curve, Terrain for all types, family friendly
    Cons: Not much in terms of nightlife after it closes, could have better terrain park
