    Pros: Strong family programs, variety of activities, convenient transportation, good local venues

    Terrible place to travel

    Pros: nothing but the actual skiing

    Cons: lodge, parking, no place for families to go

    The parking is non existent, the lodge is a joke and there is no place to put a ski bag, change or relax if you have kids. You are forced to stay here. The ... Full review

    Worth driving past Stowe

    Pros: 2nd best snow in New England, hardcore terrain, very family-oriented

    Cons: Slow lifts, not much nightlife

    Like I said, it is worth driving past Stowe to get to Smuggs. It's hard to do, being as Stowe is also great (and its town dominates Smuggs'). But for skiing... Full review

    Pros: great terrain, family friendly, nice instructors, pretty good conditions, good food, friendly people

    Cons: the lifts are slow and only two seaters
