We are Open at 8:00am with 52 Trails, 10 lifts, 3 parks and 226 Acres! Exhibition Park and the Exhibition Poma will be wide open to the public plus we still have Pop-Up Parks on High Country and Psyched. Also check out Stillness for the first glimpse of our next park! All of our glades and "Wicked Venture Zones" are open plus a ton of rollers on the Rock Island Fun Run and bumps on True Grit, And Tyler Too, and Lower Sel's Choice! Plus, Green Peak Trails 51, 52, & 53 are Open!

Conditions and Weather today are looking like mostly cloudy skies with a chance of a rain or snow shower in the afternoon. With the warm, spring skiing conditions yesterday we saw some mashed potato and wet snow by the end of the day but fortunately things cooled down last night and may stay a bit cooler today in the mid-30s, with a possible high of 39. Our groomers have been hard at work all night and morning giving the whole mountain a going over and bringing our snow back to a nice loose granular. We are anticipating low winds all weekend and with the warm weather and great powder coverage from this past week we should see really outstanding conditions in the mornings, nice soft snow by the early afternoons, and all around a great weekend to be out on the slopes! As temps rise later in the day we may see some mashed potato snow developing, a bit wet and lumpy but not overly heavy, especially on our south side. However the higher moisture also means for nice, fast skiing, especially on our North Side trails.

My Recommended Run of the Weekend to take full advantage of the mountain begins by taking the White Peaks Quad to the top and then the High Country Double the rest of the way for a full top to bottom run. Expect some clouds or fog to be hanging around at the top of Mt. Tecumseh but if you are lucky the high country lift will get you above the clouds for a cool view! Then head down Treeline to find some great powder stashes and continue on, bypassing the top of Oblivion and instead heading for No Grit for a gorgeous tree-lined blue trail that ends with your choice of a shallow entry into the second half of Oblivion, or a nice, steep drop that will send you cruising down Oblivion with a great view of Green Peak. Once you reach the top of Valley Run, keep going! Head straight to the furthest trail and you will experience the first taste of Green Peak, Trail 51! The lower half of this top to bottom Green Peak trail is a green that runs parallel to South Street and Stillness. Make sure to glance back up at Mt. Tecumseh for a new perspective of some well-known Sunnyside trails, before the trail splits and becomes Trail 52, another green trail, or Trail 53, a short blue that follows the lift line and offers some fun and fast roller-like hills before they both connect to Baseway to send you back to base!

Eats and Apres-Ski can be found at all mountain locations today. Refuel and warm up at any of our on-mountain restaurants, pubs, and eateries including the Marketplace, Schwendi Hutte, Buckets Bones & Brews, T-Bars, Sunnyside Timberlodge, and the Waffle Cabin! After hitting the slopes, grab a cold one during Apres with Live Music from 3-6pm in Buckets and T-Bars. There will be movies for the kids just outside Buckets so the whole family can relax after a fun day on the slopes!

Lots of snow! Felt like spring skiing in January, with very little ice. By the end of the day the snow got a bit clumpy and sticky, but it was a great day!

Green expansion is not open and the conditions are icy due to yesterday's rainfall. They were having technical issues with the chairlifts earlier. They may be fixed by now.
