Easy to get from place to place, cheap, beginners' paradise
Not much for advanced/high intermediate, can be tricky getting off lifts, icy/mogul
It was pretty easy to get from lift to lift. The base was flat and the traverses weren't totally uphill. This place is much cheaper than surrounding areas such as Mount Sunapee and Pat's Peak. There is much for the beginner to do at this small, not intimidating mountain. The high intermediate will do well on their black diamonds under right conditions the advanced will have nothing to do. Some of the lifts just drop you off a near vertical drop to get to the trails. Another thing to know if going on a powder day: There will be ice and there will be moguls and they will be very close together. Anybody knows that if you lose rhythm and go over the mogul catching some air, you will fall on ice and there will be a lot of force on your ankles if you aren't ready. It's best to get here early!
