Great Night Skiing and Beginner's Instruction
Pros: Close (for Rockland and NYC area), Quality Rentals
Cons: Small
Excellent location near the Rockland/NJ border. Convenient for most schools (after school clubs/activities) and reasonably priced ($10lift/$10 rental) for students and accompanying parents. My daughter had a very patient and thorough instructor... Full review

Tuxedo Ridge=Good
Pros: Close to city

Tuxedo Ridge was very good for beginners. I liked it but it was a very easy place to ski/snowboard. I think the terrain(not open all the time) is fair. The race hill... Full review

Needs More Snowmaking
Pros: Close to NYC
Cons: Terrible Snow Making / Overcrowded Bunny Hill
I was a season pass holder for the past year and did not renew. They do not have enough snow making equipment and it took they almost half the winter to open... Full review
