Life doesn't get much sweeter than this—North Carolina's Sugar Mountain is gearing up to host the ninth annual Sugarfest on Dec. 10 and 11. The two-day festival is packed with a long list of winter activities and coincides with Sugar's 18th Annual Adult Preseason Ski Clinic, starting on Dec. 9.
The Clinic includes three days of non-stop individual instruction and attention from certified instructors and accomplished skiers like Olympic Gold & Silver medalist Diann Roffe and US National Super G Champion, Keely Kelleher. Sugar is offering a sweet package deal to get the most out of the weekend.
$225 for the weekend includes a three-day lift ticket (Dec. 9-11), coaching fees, tuning clinic, video analysis, world-class instruction and dinner on Saturday night. Season pass holders pay just $150. Daily rates are also available. Click here for more information.
Not ready to be critiqued by the pros? Both Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., demo a huge fleet of 2012 ski and snowboard gear from Salomon, Volkl, Nordica, Burton, Head, Never Summer, K2, Atomic, Dynastar, Rossignol, Ride, Line, Fisher and Forum. Skiers and riders must have a valid lift ticket as well as a valid driver's license or credit card in order to demo the equipment.
