White Pine Eyes Late Closure

White Pine Ski Area has not set their closing date yet. Good snowfall has prompted the mountain to eyeball a mid-April closing, but they are also considering opening for weekends through end of April. Meanwhile, both Snowy Range and Snow King shut down their lifts Mar. 31. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, which celebrates their third Spring Mountain Festival until Mar. 31, plans to run its chairs and gondolas through Apr. 6. Grand Targhee opens the slope for their 8th Spring Cardboard Box Derby on their last weekend before turning off the lifts Apr. 13.
