Meribel plans to open a DC Area 43 snowpark this winter.
Following the success of the Area 43 snowparks in other resorts such as Saint Lary, Cerler, Kitzbuehel and Les Houches near Chamonix, DC have added Meribel to their repertoire of snowparks.
Plans have only just been released and are still in development stage. Obviously they'll have to wait for the snow to arrive before the HillTechnics shapers can move in - although the DC caravan has already been dropped off.
The park is due to be located in the Meirbel-Mottaret area where the previous White Park was situated just under the Plattiere 2 lift.
The DC Area 43 Snowpark Kitzbuehel Hanglalm offers classic kickers and rail lines, good for all abilities, and a park area with wooden elements: picnic tables, tree jibs and up-down boxes.
