Monarch adds four new ski routes

7th August 2012 | OnTheSnow Staff

Monarch is venturing into the ski market this year, adding popular alpine routes to its winter flying schedule.

New routes leave from London Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds/Bradford.

This is Monarch's first venture into the ski market and their aim has been to offer a comprehensive coverage of the Alps by flying to four different ski destinations: Grenoble, France (near the western Alps), Friedrichshafen, Germany (near northern Alps). Innsbruck, Austria and Munich, Germany (near central and eastern Alps)."

Popular ski resorts for all four destinations are less than one hour and 30 minutes drive away.

As well as the above new routes you could also fly to one of Monarch's Italian destinations and head to slopes from there. Milan, Venice and Verona are all within easy reach of ski resorts.

To celebrate Monarch's new ski routes they are offering £10 off return flights (enter SKI2012).

Prices for December start from £41 to Grenoble; £37 to Friedrichshafen; £41 to Innsbruck; and £41 to Munich. All prices are per person, one way and include taxes.
