Ski Independence have reduced the price of a week's stay in the three-star Village in Breckenridge, USA by £210 per person for holidays in March.
Based on an early March departure the prices goes down to £998 per person. This includes two sharing a double room, British Airways flights from Heathrow to Denver, and a shuttle transfer from the airport to the resort.
Breckenridge is one of Colorado's most popular resorts and receives more British guests than any other US resort. It has had North America's highest skiing since 2005, when the it opened the world's highest chairlift. The ski area is spread over four peaks.
Breckenridge is not purpose-built but an original mining town with 171 listed buildings. It is consistently one of the three most popular ski resorts in the U.S. in terms of skier visits with somewhere around 1.5 million annually. The skiing is 24 modern lifts, including an impressive number of high-speed chairs, and is spread over lift-linked mountains with double-black diamond bowl and chute skiing above.
The three-star Village at Breckenridge is located in a ski-in/ski-out position at the base of Breckenridge's Peak 9. It's a two-minute walk from the resort's historic Main Street - the location of the resort's hundreds of shops and restaurants. It is also located beside the Quick Silver Super Six lift and close to the main ski school meeting point and village nursery.
