What . . . SnowPlanet's 23-metre-long indoor slope is covered in real snow all year-round. On the slopes it is a constant temperature of -5 Celsius, so warm clothes and gloves are necessary. SnowPlanet has two slopes: one is 230 meters long (for intermediates) and the other is a beginners' slope 100 meters long.
Skiers and snowboarders of all ages can attend courses and lessons at the ski school. The courses are available for beginners as well as advanced skiers and snowboarders.
The FunPark offers a range of rails, jumps, and kickers every evening from 7 p.m.
It's possible to rent boots and skis/snowboard for €7.50 at SnowPlanet, but ski clothes are not available to rent.
May to August: SnowPlanet is open 3-11 p.m. (Mon-Fri) and 11 a.m.-11 p.m. (weekends). September to April: SnowPlanet is open 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. everyday.
Non-Skiing Activities . . . Snow biking and snow tubing.
Food/Shops . . . SnowPlanet has several attractive restaurants and a sun deck where you can enjoy cheese fondue and summer barbecues. Apres-ski takes place at Rudi's bar facing the slopes featuring dancing and a DJ. The Snow Planet Store sells a range of equipment to rent and snow clothes to buy.
Prices . . . Hourly ski rate: €10-€24 adults; €10-€19 under 12 years.
