Freebies for First Timers

Sponsored by Montana Ski Areas Association and Alltel Wireless, the free one day learn to ski or ride program targets beginners. To participate, stop in an Alltel location in Billings, Bozeman, Kalispell, Missoula, Butte, Great Falls, or Helena to pick up a voucher with a registration code. Because numbers are limited, registration is required. When you register, your lesson spot and rental gear will be reserved. Participating resorts include Bear Paw, Big Mountain, Blacktail Mountain, Bridger Bowl, Great Divide, Lookout Pass, Lost Trail, Maverick Mountain, Showdown, and Montana Snowbowl. Bear Paw also has spaces available on February 10, and Blacktail Mountain plans to extend the program to February 17 and 18.
