Tour operator Board'n'lodge is offering a tour of six ski areas across former Yugoslavia. This trip is being promoted not just as a wintersports holiday, but about four different cultures in three different capitals.
The 11-day itinerary takes in a route from Slovenia, travelling to Bosnia, riding the Sarajevo Olympic resorts, the Durmitor mountains in the wilds of beautiful Montenegro. The tour continues to Kopaonik, Serbia's best resort, and concludes in the party town of Belgrade, before returning to Ljubljana. There is also an optional extra stay available in Slovenia's second city of Maribor. Prices are from $1,400 per person (minimum four people). Recommended for all ability levels; lessons are available.
