A second hit is in The Fontaines Blanches – starting from the Chaux des Rosées summit, skiing down to the bottom of the They (Morgins) valley. To enjoy the Pierre Plate begin with a five minutes hike carrying your skis or board then descend from the Col des Portes de l’Hiver, arriving at the Tovassière cantine in Morgins, no doubt winning applause from cheese-fondue fans, enjoying the show and sunshine on the terrace.
