Spanish Ski Luxury at Baqueira

Two five-star hotels have opened in the Spanish resort of Baqueira in time for the new ski season. Two five-star hotels have opened in the Spanish resort of Baqueira in time for the new ski season.

In Baqueira Beret, the two luxury hotels run by the AC and Santos chains have opened in the Val de Ruda Residential Estate of Baquiera - the five-star Hotel AC Baqueira and the five-star Hotel Val de Neu. A third hotel belonging to the Himalaia chain could be ready by mid-season.

Guests of the brand new luxury hotels also will benefit from the new gondola lift connecting the Ruda Residential Estate with the ski slopes.

The public car park at the Ruda Residential Estate will be fully opened this winter, with a total of 1,400 parking spaces spread over three floors. The car park will solve the current shortage of spaces at Baqueira 1500, and a portion of these parking spaces will be free during the day.

The access roads to Baqueira have undergone extensive improvement, including a new bypass from Guingueta d'Aneu to Mare de Deu de les Ares and the completion of a new bypass connecting Sorpe with Boren, shortening the connection from the villages in the Val d'Isil to the Bonaigua Pass.
