Echo Mountain is just a short drive from Denver and the perfect spot to get a quick ski fix. This year you'll get more than just Echo Mountain if you buy their $159 season pass. Echo is partnering with Ski Cooper (near Leadville) and Sunlight Mountain Resort (near Glenwood Springs) to offer each season pass holder up to three free days of skiing or riding with no blackout dates.

"We're very excited to be able to offer this added value to our pass holders for the first time," Echo Mountain General Manager Cindy Dady said. "We understand that people like variety and options. Now they have options at a great price."

Echo isn't big, with only 240 acres of wooded and open trails. However, it offers affordable skiing just 35 miles from downtown Denver. Families can enjoy the easy access to the slopes, it's a great place for the kids to learn and Echo is loaded with terrain park features such as freestyle jumps, jibs, and rails. The resort has a bar and restaurant, and is open for night skiing every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
