Iowa Areas Winding Down Winter

Seven Oaks reports that it's 70 degrees and the 12+ million gallons of snow making water are running down hill. What was snow is rapidly melting or turning to ice. They've called it quits for the year. Sundown Mountain, outside of Dubuque, closed March 12 through today to conserve snow. They plan to reopen tomorrow from noon to 9 p.m. and will be skiing through the weekend.
