Utah's ski resorts and ski related businesses hire thousands of employees each winter, but often they don't find everyone they need. Ski Utah has announced the launch of a new online job board, SkiUtahJobs.com to aid the situation. Utah's ski and snowboard industry hires approximately 18,000 employees per year, including temporary seasonal help to work the lifts, restaurants, hotels, and other facilities around a resort, as well as year-round employment opportunities. But realizing how tough it can be for a perfect match, SkiUtahJobs.com will help job seekers find the most up-to-date ski-related job listings available in Utah. The site is free for both parties.
Employers can post jobs and job seekers can view ski industry jobs from across the state online. You also can sign up for job alerts in case you don't immediately see what you're looking for. You will be notified via e-mail every time a new job gets posted.
Or you can check out the individual resorts. Many will be hosting job fairs throughout the month of October and into early November. The job fair at Park City Mountain Resort will be held in the Legacy Lodge, Oct. 30, 3-6 p.m. Other sites to track down cool, seasonal adventure jobs include backdoorjobs.com, mountainjobs.com, and coolworks.com.
