Ski Dazzle Show Coming To Los Angeles Dec. 4-7

Ski Dazzle, the nation's largest consumer ski and snowboard show featuring four football fields of bargains and information, kicks off a four-day run at the South Hall of Los Angeles Convention Center Dec. 4. 

The 45th annual expo will feature more than 375 booths and displays from all major ski and snowboard manufacturers and most of the West's top resorts.

Attendees also can save big bucks - up to 70 percent off - on new equipment and clothing at the $6 million retail sale; take part in a tire-chain installing contest; check out the latest offerings from Warren Miller, Matchstick Productions, Teton Gravity Research and others at the Action Sports Film Theater; get basic ski and snowboard lessons from instructors at Snow Summit; or watch some of the top BMX and skateboard athletes perform on the show's vert ramp.

The show runs from 4-11 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, and from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday. The entry fee for adults is $17 (which includes a voucher for a free, albeit restricted, lift ticket at Bear Mountain or Snow Summit resorts), $5 for kids 6-12, and free for 5 and under.
