Angel Fire Resort Gives Families A Break

Angel Fire for kids and families. Angel Fire for kids and families.

Angel Fire Resort plans to serve up the best value in outdoor recreation and stress-free hospitality in the Southern Rockies.

"We understand that many families will be forced to take a hard look at their vacation travel plans for this season," says Dave Dekema, director of marketing for Angel Fire Resort. "Disconnect from the bad news on news programs, and re-connect with family and friends in a relaxing setting. There's nothing like bluebird skies and first tracks in fresh powder to help someone regain perspective."

Angel Fire Resort will offer a pre-season special through Nove. 30 with a discount on its unrestricted season passes. A 2008-2009 Adult Season Pass will be available for $299, a savings of $200 off the full season pass price. Student, Military and Junior season passes will be available for $199, a savings of $100 off the regular price. These season pass products have no blacked-out holiday dates. Season passes are available for purchase online or onsite at the Angel Fire Resort Membership Office.

In addition, the resort is offering savings up to 20 percent off hotel lodging and vacation condo rentals based on availability. The slopeside Lodge is undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation, with a full exterior renovation to be completed this month. Guests wishing to take advantage of the early-season lodging discounts must contact a resort vacation planner at (800) 633-7463.

Other programs include:

Kids Stay, Ski & Eat Free. Rack rates for lodging and lift tickets for adults. Based on double occupancy. Two kids per room get free lodging and lift tickets. Free breakfast and lunch - one free kid per paying adult.

Military Appreciation: An all-inclusive package for all active-duty personnel. Two nights lodging, two days of lift tickets, two breakfasts and two dinners, and a gas card, starting as low as $99 per person per day based on double occupancy.
