Brundage Beefs Up Dining, Grooming

Brundage grows and grooms. Brundage grows and grooms.

Brundage Mountain is working around the clock to prep for this coming ski season.  Their staff has gone to work improving their grooming fleet, adding two new terrain parks, and completing the new Bear's Den eatery at the top of Brundage's Bear Chair. The eight-sided log building spreads 1,300 square feet to provide seating for about 88 people on weekends and holidays.

Because of its location, families can stay close to their kid's favorite runs when they break for lunch or a snack.
The Bear's Den will have a special kid's menu, as well as some adult offerings you won't find in the main lodge. It also will have a 2,100 square foot wrap-around deck with views of Alpine Engen and Sidewinder runs.

The Main Lodge gets an expanded salad bar and baked potato bar. Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, you can also visit the Bird's Nest yurt at the top of the BlueBird quad for hot drinks, hot soups and specialty hot dogs.

The resort has invested a sizable chunk to improve its grooming over the past three seasons. They now have two brand new Prinoth BR-350 groomers and a Prinoth winch cat to reach steep slopes that were inaccessible in the past. Having these machines could result in an even earlier opening day.
