Resorts in this article: La Tania, La Plagne, Peisey - Vallandry, Méribel
Chalet specialist Ski Beat has launched a huge promotion for beginner skiers. The Ski Beat offer is even more wide-ranging than the Freshers' Ski Week launched by some of the big British tour operators in September.
The new offer is available for the weeks commencing 10, 17, and 24 January, plus those beginning 14 and 21 March. Ski Beat and its resort partners La Plagne, Plan Peisey, La Tania, and Meribel are offering more than 50 beginners the chance to ski for free.
Nigel Oldham, director of Ski Beat, told OnTheSnow, "We want beginners to join our fabulous sport. In these uncertain times we are working with our resort partners to make it possible: beginners really should not be put off by the cost. We all need the escape that the mountains can offer.
"As the saying goes 'every little helps.' in fact there is more than £18,000 of ski packs being given away," said Oldham.
At least one other person on the booking must take equipment with that hire shop and lessons with that ski school, to take advantage of this offer. Equipment and lessons need not be at the same level. The rest of the group must book their passes through the ski pack section and all must be claimed at the time of booking, to take advantage of the free ski pass..
The deal provides one free ski pack of lift pass, lessons, and equipment for a group of six; or two free ski packs for a group of 10 or more.
