You can have this practically all to yourself. You can have this practically all to yourself.

Homewood Mountain Resort, the cozy little 1,260-acre family-oriented playground whose base lodge is 100 yards or so from the northwest shore of Lake Tahoe, is introducing a program this winter that will allow groups exclusive use the mountain's South Lodge and Quail triple chairlift.

Dubbed the Private Mountain Experience, the program is open to ski and snowboard club functions and private parties as well as corporations, associations, and businesses that might like to use Homewood as an alternative to traditional meeting settings.

Guests can customize their Private Mountain Experience to include exclusive use of the resort's 3,000-square-foot South Lodge, exclusive access to Quail triple chairlift (which accesses more than 1,200 acres), complimentary shuttle service from hotels, motels and other local accommodations, catered lunch and no-host bar, après-ski party in the lodge and outdoor patio, live entertainment, and post-ski s'mores and bonfire.

Don't forget Homewood's knock-out views of Lake Tahoe, which are thrown into the Private Mountain Experience at no extra cost.

Business conference rooms, ski and snowboard lessons and other special requests can be made prior to a group's arrival. Specific party needs can be customized for any occasion.  A full list of package inclusions can be found on the resort's Web site.
