Loon Opens South Peak

This season it's two lifts and three trails, with more to come over the next five years. Lifties have been hanging chairs on Tote Road Quad that will carry skiers and riders from the top of Upper Speakeasy to the top of South Peak, and on Lincoln Express to carry skiers up the new mountain. Snowmaking crews have been laying down cover on Cruiser, the first of the South Peak trails to open. Skiing and riding are finally here after years of planning and a summer of lift and trail construction.
