It's not everyday you get to ski with a cool dude who knows plenty about skiing and can coach you the way an instructor or race coach might, as opposed to some pro-athlete who just wants you to bask in his arcs.

The Canyons new Steep Skiing Camp hosted by Moles is designed for intermediate to advanced skiers, ages 18 and up, who want to take their big mountain skiing to the next level. This camp is not for first-time skiers. It's for those who know how to ski and stopped taking lessons years ago.

Moles and select Canyons' instructors will lead groups to a level where they can ski comfortably and confidently in the steeps and deep. The three-day clinic is not a backcountry clinic per se, but you'll learn some backcountry skills such as how to read the terrain, select a safe line, basic avalanche awareness and safety, and technical skiing techniques.

You're going to need to sack up if you want to take this clinic. Brant plans to drop you into some steep, technical terrain. Reservations are required for either the Jan. 2-4 or Feb. 6-8 clinics. The price is $470 and does not include lift tickets.
