The Seven Springs/WTAE-TV Winterfest runs through Feb. 15.

It is an annual event showcasing all types of snow and slope activities to help guests enjoy the winter temperatures, deep snow, and even the shorter days.

Snow tubing, on-snow races, silly challenges, and other fun activities are going on all this week at the Pennsylvania area.

A craft and artisan show will be indoors 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb.14-15 in the resort's Festival Hall. The Winter Activity Center is the place for kids from noon to 5 p.m. daily for scavenger hunts, face painting, board games, coloring contests, and other free activities.

Iwan Fuchs, the resort's Snowsports School Director, has organized a formation ski event. A dynamic display of talent and athletic prowess, this spectator event is scheduled for 6:15 p.m., Fri., Feb. 13, on Stowe Slope. Formation skiing has its roots in synchronized skiing, but utilizes upbeat music, intense choreography and colorful light displays.
