OnTheSnow has been at the ISPO trade show in Munich all week, talking to top brand reps and taking plenty of photos. See Gear gallery: 2015 Ski boots.

We're bringing you the inside info from the show. Checkout these top trends for ski boots next winter . . .

Three top trends in 2015 ski boots:

1. Fitting options - The liner (inner boot) is being used for fitting almost everywhere. It's usually preformed and can be adjusted to the skier's foot with heat. These fitting options appear more often even in the low cost boots (starting at about £200).

2. Specialised ski boots - Manufacturers are focusing on a very segmented audience with very detailed features to match the needs of freeriders, comfort-orineted skiers, race-oriented skiers, ski-touring and so forth. There are more women's boots as well. If the buyer is aware of what he/she wants for themselves, they should find a perfect match.

3. Many on the market - Ski boots are the perfect gear element for retailers - they need to be adjusted and buying online is usually not an option, plus many people rent skis, but most of them will still want their own boots. Brands and retailers just love them and as a result the market is wider than ever.
