Nine of Montana's smaller resorts cranked up their bullwheels in the past several weeks, but most operated on weekends only. The holidays are launching them all into daily schedules. Both Discovery and Montana Snowbowl plan to run their lifts daily throughout the remainder of the season. Those resorts operating Wednesdays through Sundays during the regular season are planning a full holiday schedule. Both Showdown and Great Divide will run daily through Jan. 6 when they resume their normal schedules. Blacktail Mountain returns to its five-day schedule after New Year's Day. Lost Trail will operate daily through Jan. 1 before starting up its Thursday through Sunday schedule. Lookout Pass opens daily through Jan. 7 and then returns to its Thursday through Monday operation. Teton Pass and Maverick Mountain run daily between Dec. 26 and Jan. 1, but then resume their weekend-only schedules.
