SKI JAMIN, the new program that aims to get inner city children to the ski slopes, is hosting its fall fundraiser Saturday, Nov. 28. The Fall Fun Night Fundraiser features an evening of comedy in Fresno.

The fundraising event has lined up three comedians from the Los Angeles area, including Mark Moseley, Quevaughn Bryant, and Grace Fraga. Mark Moseley has appeared in hit films and television shows, including the Shrek movies, NBC's Father of the Pride, and Fox TV's American Dad. Quevaughn Bryant has been seen on NBC's Last Comic Standing, Comedy Central, and MTV's Real World. Grace Fraga performs stand-up comedy in New Orleans, San Francisco, New York, Reno, and Las Vegas.

The evening, which runs 6-11 p.m., features a dinner, dance, and comedy at Frank's Place in Fresno in addition to fundraising events. Silent and live auctions will benefit the SKI JAMIN program.

Tickets cost $60 per person or $100 per couple. They may be purchased by phone or e-mail.

The proceeds from the Night of Comedy benefit SKI JAMIN's 12-week winter program that will take more than 50 kids ages 9-12 from the Fresno Central Valley to the snow this winter. The kids will receive free ski instruction at Badger Pass and Sierra Summit and free equipment, clothing, and transportation.
