Otsego Ski Club, one of the Heartland's only private ski clubs, will be open to the public for the first time in 60 years, Dec. 19-20, and Thursdays and Fridays throughout the season.

Michigan Snowboarders and winter enthusiasts can finally experience arguably one of the best all-mountain terrain parks in the Midwest.  The O Park, Otsego Club's all-mountain terrain park, features the region's only 22-foot super pipe, as well as a variety of rails, jibs, and custom wall rides. This unique park is similar to some of the great terrain parks snowboarding enthusiasts and twin-tippers enjoy at Western ski resorts in Park City, Winter Park, and Vail.  Lift tickets will be $10 opening weekend.

Snowboarders, twin-tippers, and snowmobilers will interact throughout the day on Saturday Dec. 19. Pro riders will provide demonstrations combined with the Can-Am Challenge of the Canadian Snow Cross.  Club members and the public will be able to ski and ride alongside the pro riders and among the snow cross participants.

Guests will also be able to experience the new Snow-skate Park, complete with a demo fleet of Lib Tech snow-skates.

A night Slopestyle competition will be staged by Middle Earth. The event will be open to all ages featuring prizes from top companies like K2, Lib/Gnu, and Rossignol.  Live entertainment will be provided by local favorites Exit 282. Participation is $10 with a full-day lift ticket. All proceeds from entry fees will go to the Middle Earth Snow Series.

Families who want to spend the entire weekend at Otsego Club can check out the Test Drive Weekend Package, available to the public for the first time.  The weekend packages start from $495 for a family of four, including two nights lodging, two adult lift tickets, two kids' lift tickets, and breakfast daily in the Duck Blind Grille. Lift tickets are good for Friday arrival, all day Saturday, and all day Sunday. Additional charges apply for extra kids.  The weekend packages will be available throughout the season based on availability.
