  I have been goin to Alpbach for 7 years now, I stay with one of the main ski instructors Urban migrater and his wife Hilda. Although I have been going for so long, I am amazed at the new off pist runs and sledging he shows us each year, I say us, as I have met up with people from France , Germany , Italy , America, England in fact from all over the world, who have been going to Alpbach for as long as 35 years. in fact one of my friends, maurice, had his ashes spread at the cross on the top of 2000. The villagers are more than friendly, and some of the eating places in the mountains take your breath away. I have skied in many places over the years, but this small village beats them all. The first time I went there on my own, I arrived at 9 at night, the next mornin at 6.30, I was milking cowes with a family in the mountains. FANTASTIC.
