US of A your apres is rubbish!

Take Killington, for example. If you read the majority of reviews on this site you'd think this was an amazing, super lively place, where the fun never stops. Ok, so the bars... Full article

completely agree! There was a time when Aspen rocked but that was about it for apres in the U.S. the Mangy Moose in Jackson can find a decent rhythm from 4-6pm but overall nothing compares. You'll have to head to Whistler if you want your world rocked. Apres goes from 2 p.m. to 4 a.m. if you let it. Personally, I'd rather have a few beers, some nachos, a hot bath and a good night's sleep- especially if it's storming outside. It's hard enough to wake up at 8 sober.

Robbo27: I have never been snowboarding in Europe, so I don't have a frame of reference to compare the apres of America and Europe ... but I can positively say that South Lake Tahoe and also the state-line area of the North Shore of Lake Tahoe have great nightlife and all the amenities you could ever ask for. Plus gambling! I would love to snowboard in Europe, but you should make it out to California and check out Lake Tahoe ...
What is your favorite resort in Europe for apres?

Chamonix would probably be tops for me, plus it has some of the best skiing anywhere. I also have a soft spot for Canazei, because I work there.
