A Hidden Gem with Stunning Lake Views We have visited Thollon-les-Mémises several times and always look forward to coming back. What makes this resort so special is its combination of a charming mountain village, a relaxed atmosphere, and breathtaking views over Lake Geneva. Unlike many larger ski resorts, Thollon-les-Mémises has kept its authentic village character. There are no crowded slopes or noisy après-ski bars. Instead, you'll find friendly locals, cosy restaurants, a traditional bakery, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. It is an excellent destination for families, couples, and anyone looking for a more relaxed skiing holiday. The ski area is ideal for beginners and intermediate skiers, with well-maintained pistes and very short lift queues, even during busy periods. More experienced skiers can also enjoy the resort, especially if they appreciate scenic skiing rather than extensive ski mileage. On clear days, the panoramic views across Lake Geneva and the surrounding Alps are simply unforgettable.
