    Pros: Excellent terrain - varied and challenging, Hikable bowls, Not a 'Scene'

    Alpine Alright!

    Pros: Not crowded

    Cons: Wind

    Alpine Meadows has some nice terrain and when I was there, both times, great snow. It's not the premiere destination in the Tahoe area and I think that is it's biggest advantage.... Full review

    Great All Around Resort

    Pros: Great runs, from expert to beginner, friendly staff, not crowded

    Cons: Older lodge/restaurant
