Snow Reporter Comments

Morning Update @ 10:15a.m. - SNOW!!! Mother Nature is making the Kitty purr this morning with a good dose of snow. We measured over an inch at mid-mountain at 9:30 am and the snow continues to fall at a pretty good rate. The skiing and riding is excellent this morning and will only get better with additional snow!

New Snow in Today's Forecast!

One of the perks of being the snow reporter is arriving at the mountain early, hearing the snowmaking system blazing away and witnessing the spectacular morning alpenglow...truly a sight to behold! Winter is here at The Kitty and with snow in today's forecast it is shaping up to be a beauty day!

Today we will have 7 trails, across 38 acres and 3 miles of open terrain, for your skiing and riding pleasure. The Wildcat Express is our lift of choice for the day and will turn from 9am until 3:30pm. The grooming crew was out all night and left behind fresh corduroy on all of our open trails with the exception of Upper Catapult. Word from the groomers is that the snow surface is silky smooth and will make for some great turns, so head on up and see for yourself!

This week's forecast is looking good to keep the snowguns lit and cranking out the snow! The focus today is on Upper Catapult and Lower Polecat and we will be expanding terrain as fast as we can...and we may even see some help from Mother Nature later in the week. Exciting stuff!

Please note that our early season terrain is recommended for intermediate to advanced skiers and riders - our beginners and novice terrain is not yet open for the season.

Lift Tickets are available at the early season window rate of $49 for Adults and $39 Youth and Seniors. Don't forget about our Sunday Funday deal! $30 afternoon tickets every Sunday. You can always save money by purchasing E-Tickets online, in advance - the earlier you buy, the more you save!

Wildcat Retail, Tickets & Guest Services will be open from 8:00a.m. - 4:00p.m.
Cafeteria will open at 8:30a.m. - 4:00p.m. and the Wildcat Pub will be open from 10:00a.m. - 5:00p.m. with a limited menu.
The Tune and Repair shop is currently available on a limited basis, Fridays-Sundays.

Please note that rentals, ski school, and nursery will not be available until the second week of December.

Peak Passholders reminder:
If you purchased and used your Peak Pass in March/April of last winter you’ll need to get a NEW WINTER 16|17 Peak Pass.
If your pass has a brown border & SPRING 2016 on it
Simply visit our ticket/pass desk inside the lodge to grab your WINTER 16/17 pass.
