on February 22, I bought a ski pass for 63 euros, the facilities were closed due to the wind and on 26 february 2024,bthey offered me a voucher of 27 euros valid until the end of the season 2023/2024, so maybe 1-2 weeks....the biggest thieves
never again there
they stole my money
Do yourself a favor an go to Austria which is cheaper and better in every way, but not stuhleck or semmering, those are overcrowded by bratislava folks Cheers
Biggest in slovakia
Overcrowded, very expensive

My wife and I are both ski instructors and have skied all over Europe. We visited Jasná last year in January. The snow conditions were great and the slopes are varied. It is not the largest resort in the world but great for a weeks skiing. The slopes are well marked and well groomed, with a lift pass price of less than €200 for 6 days on GOPASS it’s also great value for money. Food and drink on and off the slopes is great value, About a third of the price of France and about half the price of Austria. We had one day when the wind was so strong that most of the lifts were closed, but the rest of the week was great. We have already booked for January 2019 and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a skiing holiday, not a party.
Excellent value for money, great beer, great food,
Can get windy and this stops the lifts. If you are looking for a vibrant, this.

Great value for money. Lunch, massive tasty kebab and 1/2 litre of beer €7. Really friendly and not too crowded. If they have good snow cover it's an awesome resort. The train ride from Bratislava, iif you get the old train, is a blast from a soviet past. Grab some beverages for the ride and dine in style in the dinning car.

After reading about Jasna and how it has amazing free ride zones, great area for skiing/boarding and is low cost, we thought what a fab destination for a New Year Holiday - especially as other resorts in France, Italy and Austria were working out to be a bit of a wallet eater. We booked with Propaganda Snowboards - a well reviewed company who are English and provide semi catered chalets. We chose the slope side chalet which was in Zachakdry and was in a perfect location. Unfortunately there had been no snowfall since 10th December and conditions were really poor. Icy, not many pistes open and definitely no free riding or powder. The Chopok side (or South side) of the mountain was slightly better. Even though around 40% of the pistes were open, the liftpass providers still charge full price of a hefty €198 for a full area liftpass (this is the only option) it does however include a day out at Tatralandia waterpark which has some great thermal pools and relaxation areas, ideal after a few days gripping onto the ice. There are free buses to the attraction - although beware the last bus may not turn up! The Rotunda restaurant located at the top of the new gondola Funitel, offers fantastic soups, coffees and the delicious ocal hot chocolate which is pretty much like drinking a chocolate mousse - is a great place for an amazing panoramic view and a cosy pit stop as is the Hotel Srdiečko located at the bottom of the south side in Chopok. I would highly recommend the cappacinos and the delicious garlic soup in a bread bun. When you purchase your lift passes, you will be given a GoPass. You can use the points on it in most places alongside a couple of euros and it can make eating and drinking even cheaper. It should say on the menu what is on offer with the pass. I would also highly recommend the piste basher and meal evening at Von Roll. Its €39 and can be booked at the info centre. We did it on our last night night and it was a fab way to end the week. You are picked up by piste basher and taken a couple of pistes to the the very eloquent Von Roll restaurant for 5 courses of delicious cuisine and great service. The piste basher is even more of a hoot after a potent shot of local honey wine. Later in the season, this resort would be fantastic, the slopes are ideal for intermediates and advanced skiers and boarders and the free ride zones look like a great play area when the powder is fresh. If you are passionate about trying somewhere new where there are not the usual crowds and queues, are happy to wait until February and perhaps book a last minute holiday based on snow condition research, then Jasna would be perfect. If you can get a slopeside chalet like we did with Propaganda Snowboards then you would be laughing. There aren't any supermarkets in resorts though, so make sure you stock up before your ascent to resort as restaurants are few and far between also. Propaganda Snowboards offer a large chalet about 15 minutes from the slopes (with regular lifts and a driver service) and the slopeside chalet in Zachakdry. The chalet we stayed in was warm, comfortable and laid out very nicely. Our regular host was questionable as we paid for B&B and had to make it ourselves of the time and the chalet wasn't always tidied. However, most of the team were very helpful, there are 3 ski hire shops about 100yards from the chalet and the lift pass office is located here also. Beware, that Intersport and Tatry Motion rental shops are very overpriced - I went to a shop opposite the Ski & Fun Hotel which was cheap and the equipment was in decent enough nick for the conditions - don't take your own unless you have a decent filler and waxing/edging kit...
Beautiful location, pistes well groomed, up and coming, great mountain cafes/bars
Poor snow conditions, nowhere to eat after 4pm, very spread out
