Stubaital Ski Resorts FAQ

Skiing in the Stubai Valley is marked by diversity. Beginners, intermediate skiers and professionals alike will find suitable slopes in the Stubai Valley. Numerous pistes, high altitude cross-country ski runs, winter trails and toboggan runs are only some of the possible activities you can pursue during your winter vacation in the Stubaital. You can also enjoy the beautiful landscape from above while paragliding. If you prefer snowboarding, the fun park is well equipped. The highest elevation in the Stubai Valley is the Zuckerhütl with 3505 m. And as the name indicates, snow is not just a random occurrence there. The Stubaier Gletscher is Austria’s largest glacier ski area. Snow is almost guaranteed from October until June. Modern skyrides and lifts take the skiers to the numerous pistes that usually don’t need to be prepared with artificial snow. The 10 km long valley run (the “Wilden Grub’n”) takes you about 1500 m down.
