SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental Piste Map
The terrain at SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental is large, linked and varied. The ski area offers 275 km of pistes between 620 m and 1869 m, with long connections between villages and views towards the Wilder Kaiser, Hohe Salve and Brixental.
Beginners and families should use the practice areas around the main access villages, including Ellmau, Going, Söll, Scheffau, Hopfgarten, Brixen im Thale and Westendorf. These zones are best for short, confidence-building runs before moving onto longer blue and red pistes.
Intermediate skiers get the strongest range of options. Areas around Hartkaiser, Brandstadl, Hochbrixen, Hohe Salve and Choralpe offer broad pistes, flowing links and plenty of scope for longer carving days.
Advanced skiers should look towards the sportier sectors in Westendorf, Söll, Hopfgarten and Scheffau. Black piste no. 112 on the Choralpe in Westendorf is one of the clearest challenges in SkiWelt and suits confident skiers looking for a steeper, more technical descent.
Freestyle is covered by official funparks and snowparks, including Boarders Playground in Westendorf. Tubing lanes and family activity areas add extra variety for groups who want more than classic piste skiing.
The scenery is a major part of the experience. Hohe Salve is one of the best panorama points, Brandstadl gives strong views towards the Wilder Kaiser, and Westendorf adds a more open, sporty feel around Choralpe and Talkaser.
