Snow Reporter Comments: Brrrrrrrrr! Temperatures dropped into the low 20s last night, which is the coldest it’s been on the mountain in over a week. We’ll start today in the mid-20s and cross over the freezing point around noon, reaching a high of around 38 when lifts close. Expect extra firm snow this morning followed by soft and slushy conditions this afternoon. Look to our groomed runs for the best morning laps, especially in sunny areas like Sunshine Bowl and lower Eagle. Most of our terrain gates are closed due to recent warming but adventurous skiers and riders can still drop into Honeycomb from the top of Summit or Powderhorn. Earth Day is officially on Monday but we’ll be celebrating tomorrow with naturalist-led tours on the mountain and planet-focused vendors in the Moonbeam area. See our events calendar for details.
