I’ve been riding Stratton for some time , the grooming is going from bad to worse…. Thanks for not investing your most important asset … the people who come here to ride , over 75% of the mountain constantly ungroomed . Absolutely terrible…. On top of that lifts constantly closed … what’s going on Stratton !!!! Get your act together , this mountain was wayyyyy better before the new owners took over. !
Great mountain
Grooming this year is woeful

Visited Stratton for the first time this past weekend. Granted it was a hoilday but lines for all resort services were insane. Enrolled 2 small kids into the 3-hour group snowboarding lesson, they only went up the magic carpet once, then were brought back inside for a 2+ hour snack break. My kids were so bummed out they did not get to ride and just had to sit inside and be bored for the entire morning. I complained the day of and requested refund with no response from Stratton. Waste of a day and money.
Cute base area with several shops
Snowboard school is pathetic, way too crowded, horrible booking process on website

I almost forgot that even though three tickets and a rental cost over 500 dollars, My Son brought his board into shop and they wouldn’t let Him use a screwdriver while We waited for our rental. Told Him to go to the burton shop. Not even that there was tools on the station by the base. Same shorter bad attitude staff member who I really had to avoid.

Stratton has a nice ski village and accommodates families well, but their lifts are all old and slow, the terrain is all flat with very few moguls, meaningful steeps, or glades to be found, and the runs are short. The overall effect is feeling that if you're an advanced or expert skier you'll get bored quickly, and won't feel that you came close to getting $170 of value (per day)
Good beginner terrain, good ski school
Very expensive, old lifts, lack of varied terrain and expert terrain

Main lift shut down line for gondola over an hour. Understand winds caused gondola being shut yesterday but no main lift is inexcusable on holiday week. $169 lift ticket just not worth it. Last trip to Stratton Todd gilbert

I've been coming to Stratton sporadically the last 25 years. Think it's a great place for families, and to take people new to skiing. Has enough long beginner trails for the newbies, and challenging trails for those more advanced. Thought they did a really good job with Covid precautions and social distancing. The rental area was not crowded at all, and my friends got their equipment super quick. Lift lines moved quickly, and on a Saturday & Sunday, it was not crowded at all. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I don't feel its fair to judge this year, it definitively wasn't as much fun with less money coming in and restricted amenities. They've done as good a job as any. They're trying to cut costs while complying. Stratton tends to look like a city, they've overbuilt and in normal years they wouldn't be able to accommodate the amount of people but this year was pleasant. The staff was upbeat and all Covid protocols were enforced and followed. All that aside its a great mountain in a perfect location. I hope they do some updating, the resorts needs it for lifts and lodges.
Lots of varied terrain, well groomed, Nordic area, tube park could be longer. friendly upbeat
Lifts are slow, needs some updating, more expensive than other VT resorts, can be overly

I’ve been coming to Stratton all of my life and this weekend is my last. Snowmaking is good but they have way too many runs closed.. even after a 2 foot dump Facilities are aging fast. No restrooms at summit and no outdoor restrooms (covid friendly) Food lacks quality and there are not a lot of options. Today, the sun bowl was out of over 50% of their menu by 1pm Masking policy at lifts was not strictly enforced
