Had a great day at Louise today! Bottom half of the frontside was slushy and grabby, but almost all of the backside was fantastic.

I was there on 23rd and the trails that are groomed were all groomed. but it was late April skiing in March. had to stay on the groomers in morning until softened as it was freezing at night and very warm blue bird days. melting has now slowed a bit but still a month a head for Louise.

I forgot to say, on Saturday the trails weren’t groomed either, I thought they would get them ready for the weekend but obviously not. It would’ve done the trails a world of good and made the experience much more pleasurable. Considering how much a pass is, it’s disappointing they don’t groom it all every night, it not like Europe (the resorts I’ve been to) where it’s corduroy every morning, I’m obviously spoilt! :)

The snow is rapidly disappearing this week. There is still snow on the slopes but it’s hard packed and is in parts VERY icy. Gets quite slushy by the afternoon. Not the best conditions despite what they say on social media. Not enjoyable skiing unfortunately:(
