Base Lodge Regulation

  • We will have limited indoor space for seating and storage.
    • Current MA Guidelines only permit 25% indoor capacity.
  • Masks must be worn unless seated AND eating or drinking.
  • The base lodge offers seating only if you are purchasing food frrom the cafeteria and have a lift ticket or season pass.
  • More outdoor seating on the deck including additional fire pits, heaters and heated benches.
  • There will also be more outdoor storage.
  • Our “Clean Team” will regularly be conducting enhanced cleaning and sanitization.
  • Tables are limited to 6 guests.
  • Seating time is limted to 1 hour.

Lift Regulations

  • Capacity of lifts will be reduced to allow for physical distancing.
  • Guests will only be allowed on lifts with travelers in their party or as 2 singles on opposite sides.
  • Face coverings are required in the lift line, load area and riding the lift.

Dining Regulations

  • Expanded outdoor food and beverage outlets will be available:
    • O’Brien’s Deck Bar & Grill (open daily at 10 am)
    • Capeside Kitchen food truck (open daily at 11 am)
  • There will be more grab & go food options in the Food Court
  • Limited seating in the Coppertop Lounge and Black Diamond Restaurant.
  • Reservations are requested at The Black Diamond Restaurant.  Call 978-464-3199 for Reservations.

Ski School

Are there COVID-19 rules/regulations for ski school?
No

Ski School Regulations

  • We plan to have adjusted class sizes and staggered line ups, as well as adding fourth lineup, with online ski school reservations.
  • All ski or snowboard lessons will be by online advance reservation only.  No walk ins.
  • We will not be offering Kids Vacation Clubs for the 20/21 season.
  • Please look for a Mountain Ambassador in front of the Ski School or Rental Building to direct you.
Polar Kids & Arctic Aces
  • Check in at the PK registration at the top of the Parking Lot side stairs for all Polar Kids and Artic Ace Lessons.
  • If you are arriving with your own equipment, a Ski School Ambassador will direct you around the corner of the building where you will be greeted by your instructor. There will be signs Ski & Snowboard, Lesson Level where you will meet your instructor.
  • Once you have checked in our Polar Kids/Arctic Aces rental group will be notified. A Ski School Ambassador will direct you around the corner of the building where you will be greeted by a rental tech ready to hand you your equipment.
  • You will be directed to a designated Polar Kids / Ace area. This is for one parent to put boots on their Child/Children. Once booted and ready to go they will head to the designated lesson area.
  • Ski & Snowboard, Lesson Level meet up area is just steps off the heated walkway. You will see the signs and levels where you will meet your instructor.  The parent will be given and arm band, they will be asked to secure it to the child’s right arm. This is to identify that they are taking part in our program.
  • If your child is taking part in both A & B Sessions, you will collect your child from the base where they departed from no later than 9:40am. Parent or guardian will be responsible for the break session. The guardian is to escort the child back to the meeting place no later than 9:50am for the departure of the 10am session.
  • Once the session is complete they will again collect their child base area. There will be a sign indicating PK pick up.

Ski Rental Regulations

  • All rental orders will be online.
  • Go to the Ticket Window first before getting your rental equipment in the Rental Building.
  • You will receive a printed receipt with a bar code for you to register for your equipment in the Rental Building.
  • Once you have registered your equipment, proceed to the Rental Building.
  • Only ONE person from your party should enter the Rental Building.
  • You will select your boots and then bring them outdoors to our new Rental Staging Deck.
  • Your skis will then be delivered to you in the outdoor pickup area.

Transportation

Are there rules/restrictions on public transportation?

Transportation regulations

  • Masks are required while being transported
  • Increased drop off area so only the vehicle driver will be encourage to ride the shuttle bus.
  • Shuttle busses will likely operate at 50% capacity.
  • When you arrive, after you have parked, please use your vehicle as your “base lodge.”  Plan to put your ski or snowboard boots on in the car.  Also, please store your personal belongings in your car as we will have limited bag storage available.
